South Yorkshire’s rising rock/metal act, Dead Demons, are making serious noise with their commanding riffs, powerful vocals, and thunderous drums. Their brand-new single, "Evolution," drops next Friday, March 28th, 2025, and if you haven’t heard of them yet—this is your wake-up call.

After some time away, Dead Demons are officially back in the studio, crafting riffs so fierce they’d make the devil himself take notes.

"Evolution" marks their first studio release since their 2023 EP, "Trial By Fire," which introduced the world to tracks like "Devil May Care," "Outlaw," and "Time Is Your Enemy." The EP earned them a growing fanbase and praise from underground rock and metal media, leading to their slot at Novacaine Festival this year.

Guitarist Chris Weatherall shared the meaning behind the track:

"‘Evolution’ was written about the band—as members leave, things change… creating an inevitable evolution process." – Chris Weatherall

And change is exactly what’s happening. "Evolution" is the band’s first release since the departure of original frontman Mark Hale. Stepping in to take the reins is Paul Lowson, who quickly proved he was the missing piece after just a few rehearsal sessions.

And honestly? Paul Lowson is the spark Dead Demons needed. His style is reminiscent of Mark’s but with a rawer, more powerful edge—exactly what could push this band to the next level. When you hear "Evolution," you’ll understand exactly what we mean.
