UK Southern hard rockers Smoke Over Elsewhere reignited their flame with the remastered release of ‘Rock ’N’ Roll Woman’ on April 4th, 2025.
Recorded in Studio 1 at Metronome in Nottingham by engineer Alistair Harris, "Rock 'N' Roll Woman" hits hard with what the band call "An almost theatrical chorus" hinting at frontman Rhys White's heavy influence from Guns 'N' Roses specifically the 1971 "Use Your Illusion" albums. After 3 years of shows across the UK with bands such as Tailgunner, Battleborn and Electric Black they are making a comeback after their sudden disappearance in summer of 2024. With a complete relaunch in 2025 including remastered versions of previously released music, new music and a completely new line up that will be heading out on a U.K tour in the summer as well as releasing more across 2025.
Novacaine Rating: 10/10
"Smoke Over Elsewhere storm back onto the UK music scene with a thunderous vengeance, unleashing their electrifying remastered single, "Rock 'N' Roll Woman." This is a bold, defiant return that demands attention—and delivers."
