Portsmouth-based alt-rock band Summoners released their highly anticipated new single, "The Fear," on April 9th, 2025.

Summoners make their case for the big-time with the arena sized, fist-pumping grunge anthem 'The Fear' - fuelled like rock fuel with catchy riffs, heavy beats, powerful vocal hooks, and the raw and relatable lyrics that are connecting them to new fans the world over.

'The Fear' encapsulates modern mental health struggles caused by the artificial beauty and life standards set for us by social media - and the endless (and fruitless) race towards external validation.

The track explores feeling paralyzed by insecurities and pressures, self critiquing and overthinking to the point of inaction... until an explosion of defiant refusal, and a proud commitment to self-acceptance and personal growth.

Summoners will be releasing three more monthly singles after The Fear, culminating in a headline EP launch in their hometown of Portsmouth in July.
